Repair Damage and Decay
Restorative Dentistry in Lower Queen Anne
Even if you take great care of your smile with a proper oral hygiene routine, you can still run into bumps in the road. Our friendly dentists in Downtown Seattle are here to offer judgment-free, compassionate care, and we offer a wide range of restorative services that will repair damage caused by decay, gum disease, or accidents and injuries.
Cavity Treatment
Tooth-Colored Fillings
If you have a cavity and would like to repair your tooth with an aesthetically-pleasing restorative option, we can help! At our office, we offer tooth-colored fillings to give our patients the restorative care they need with beautiful results. Traditional metal-amalgam fillings are trusted and effective, but will often leave your tooth discolored and gray after treatment. We use tooth-colored composite resin to fill in the empty space left behind after we clean our your cavity, so you’ll feel healthier and more confident after treatment.
REPAIR DAMAGED TEETH
Lab-Made & Same-Day Crowns
Dental crowns, also known as “caps”, are the best way to restore a tooth that has been damaged by severe decay or has been cracked or broken. At Seattle Dental Co., we offer lab-made crowns and the newer CEREC technology with same-day crowns for patients looking to repair a damaged tooth in a convenient single appointment.
Crowns are designed to surround and cover up the entire structure of your tooth, preserve remaining enamel, and restore aesthetics. Crowns typically can be made in gold or a very lifelike porcelain, and we will choose the best material to meet your functional and esthetic needs.
REPLACING A TOOTH
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are made up of two dental crowns connected to a “pontic” (a false tooth) in the middle to replace missing teeth. Dental bridges can restore your smile’s appearance and improve chewing function if you suffer from one or more missing teeth.
MISSING TEETH
Dentures & Implant Supported Dentures
Dentures are typically the most affordable way to restore your smile if you’ve lost one or multiple teeth. Partial dentures can be used if most of your teeth are healthy, and you are only missing a few of your natural teeth. Full dentures are usually only recommended for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, as they require the extraction of any remaining teeth.
In addition to traditional dentures, we also offer implant-supported dentures. Implant-supported dentures are removable dentures that clip into a set of dental implants. They look and feel more natural than traditional dentures when worn, they help keep your jaw bone healthy, and they won’t shift around in your mouth when you chew or speak. During your denture consultation, we’ll discuss your needs, goals, and budget to help you make an informed decision about which restoration is best for you.
A Healthy Bite
Occlusion Issues & Adjustments
If you have major occlusion (bite) issues, we can help you reconstruct your teeth and reshape biting surfaces to ensure that your teeth and jaw come together correctly. We offer night guards to help address grinding and clenching. If your case is more severe, orthodontic treatment may be required to adjust the position of the jaw and the teeth.
